Complete an application online*

Undergraduate applicants

  • Undergraduate admissions deadlinesApplications for Fall semester enrollment:
    • Deadline for filling out online application: July 1
    • Deadline for all application related supporting documents like transcripts, etc. to reach our office: July 15

    Applications for Spring semester enrollment:

    • Deadline for filling out online application: November 15
    • Deadline for all application related supporting documents like transcripts, etc. to reach our office: December 1
  •  Transcripts
    • Freshman: Official secondary school transcript, and graduation or school leaving document. Applicants who have the TOEFL waived or have graduated from an American high school must submit ACT or SAT results.
    • Transfer applicants: Official transcript from each university or college attended, and may also be required to submit secondary school records.
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS score *** (See FAQ page for language requirements.)
    • With the exception of students from the following English speaking countries: Australia, Belize, Canada (except Quebec), England, Eritrea, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Ghana, Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Malawi, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales.

***Until further notice, NMSU will no longer accept TOEFL scores from testing centers located in the United Arab Emirates or Lebanon.

Prospective students should review NMSUs graduate and undergraduate catalogs for other application and admission requirements, including grade point average requirements.
