Before you can be admitted to NMSU, you must first meet the eligibility for Undergraduate Admissions, then apply to NMSU, and submit required documents.
Getting admitted is a critical step before you can apply for a student visa
- NMSU will email the Decision Letter to you. In this letter, you will be informed whether or not you have been admitted to NMSU.
- While you wait for the Decision Letter:
- Make sure that you have a passport and that it is not expired.
- Double check that you submit the required documents by the deadline.
- Check your email regularly for updates from NMSU Undergraduate Admissions and ISSS.
- Once you have received the Letter of Admission, keep it in a safe place as you will need it for the student visa application.
